Botanicals 2020
I first picked up a camera when I was 13 years old, and fell in love with the vast opportunities to photograph with the environment that surrounds me, especially in botanics. I would bring my camera anywhere and everywhere I went to make the most of any kind of photographic opportunity.
Nature tells stories in the smallest details - light filtering through delicate petals, the intricate textures of leaves, the quiet elegance of growth and decay. My botanical photography explores these fleeting moments, capturing the beauty, fragility, and resilience of plant life. Through a mix of soft natural lighting, rich textures, and simple compositions, I aim to reveal the quiet poetry found in nature’s designs.
Each image is a meditation on time, change, and connection to the natural world. Whether documenting wild landscapes or intimate close-ups, my work invites viewers to slow down and appreciate the subtle, often overlooked details that make up the essence of botanical life.
